The same four-camera count can require very different systems. A small shop may need face detail at the counter; a home may prioritize gates and parking; a warehouse may need longer lens distance and stronger night performance.
IP systems are generally easier to expand and can carry power and data over one network cable with PoE. AHD systems can be cost-effective for simple installations or upgrades using compatible coaxial wiring. The best decision depends on the site and long-term plan.
